  • Critical Vulnerabilities in PHP Require Immediate Patching

CISA strongly urges organizations to immediately patch the recently disclosed critical vulnerabilities in PHP, CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619. These vulnerabilities, known as “php2shell,” allow for unauthenticated remote code execution in PHP and affect all PHP installations serving web requests. Organizations should immediately update to PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, or 8.2.35 to fix these vulnerabilities. While CISA has not observed exploitation of these vulnerabilities as of the time of publication, they pose a risk to organizations if left unpatched.  CISA urges organizations to take the following actions: Identify and inventory systems running any version of PHP across your organization.  PHP is often…

  • #StopRansomware: SafePay Ransomware

Advisory at a Glance Title #StopRansomware: SafePay Ransomware Original Publication  October 20, 2026 Executive Summary This advisory details recent activity by the SafePay ransomware group. SafePay actors have been highly active since August 2024, targeting businesses and critical infrastructure across North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. SafePay actors typically gain access to networks by stealing or guessing passwords, exploiting vulnerabilities in security systems, and using phishing tactics.  Once inside the network, SafePay actors establish control by creating new accounts or taking over existing ones. They then use legitimate system tools to move through the network, identify valuable files, and…

  • CISA Urges Patching Critical Vulnerability in BeyondTrust Remote Support

  • Chinese Government-linked Cyber Threat Actors Combine Automated and Hands-on Hacking Tools to Steal Sensitive Data

Advisory at a Glance  Title  Chinese Government-linked Cyber Threat Actors Combine Automated and Hands-on Hacking Tools to Steal Sensitive Data  Original Publication  October 8, 2026  Executive Summary  Chinese government-linked cyber threat actors, enabled by the Integrity Technology Group, are combining automated scanning tools, large-scale botnets, and hands-on exploitation techniques to target and steal sensitive data from organizations worldwide, including US critical infrastructure sectors. These actors exploit vulnerabilities by using scanning tools, cross-site scripting attacks, and password spraying on Microsoft Exchange servers, while establishing persistence through VPN software and exfiltrating emails and credentials using scripts. To help mitigate against this activity,…

  • Vulnerability Summary for the Week of September 21, 2026

High Vulnerabilities PrimaryVendor — Product Description Published CVSS Score Source Info 101gen–Automation Web Platform Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.6. This is due to missing permission enforcement on the publicly accessible REST route `POST /wp-json/wawp/v1/signup/<op>` and the absence of a key allowlist in the `finish_registration_logic` function, which copies the attacker-controlled `wawp_custom_fields` parameter directly into `update_user_meta()` – allowing sensitive meta keys such as `wp_capabilities` and `wp_user_level` to be set by…
